Endurance Sports Goal Setting Stories (5-12 min)

Setting multiple goals for a race - anything can and does happen on the day, so you must be able to adjust your end goal and process goals just like Liz’s 2023 Ironman California peeps.

Setting realistic, achievable goals - beware of lofty goals when on a post-race high! Amy’s runners nailed their Fall race goals, and some want to leap beyond what is realistic.

Beware of romantic notions that can lead you to create goals that are not wise! Coach Amy shares her example of witnessing a gravel race and expo and feeling motivated to start beyond her abilities!
