When is it Appropriate to Skip a Workout?

There are times we shouldn't do a workout or a race.  We need to factor in sleep, illness, life stress, intensity of injury, duration of injury, how the injury feels during or after a workout.  

Rest or modifying workouts as necessary will help us recover faster. It's also important to keep in mind goals are flexible and sometimes need to be modified to accommodate an injury.
