What Running Shoe Wear & Tear Indicate about Run Form
Shoe wear patterns on the outside and bottom of the shoe is something Coach Amy considers when working with clients on run form. She's looking to see if the wear and tear is "normal" or if it’s indicating a possible issue with run form. Example: Scuffing on the bottom of the shoes indicates a runner is reacting instead of pre-acting. This impacts run efficiency and injury prevention.
